Articles App allows you to write articles and publish them on your website! You'll find it pretty useful if you want to run a blog or a sequence of articles like news or maybe you're wanting to manage the knowledge base for your customers. 🤓 You can share these articles with your friends, invite them to comment and more.

If you want to provide the visitors of your website with interesting or informative articles, just click the ‘Articles’ icon on your Dashboard and get started.


How to create an Article?

Hit '+' on the new window and move to ‘Article Management’ to add your first article right away!
Type the title, intro text and main text of your article in the proper fields.

Tags will help your users find the required information, so go ahead and type in several tags in the appropriate field.

Drag and drop the picture or click the field and to upload a social or main image. 👇

Adding multiple images will enhance your blog posts, that’s why we’ve also enabled inserting more images from your PC or making use of the free stock pics available on Unsplash. Simply search for keywords to find relevant images. 😉


Move the pointers to enable the options of sharing and commenting and encourage people to comment on your blog.


To add the commenting network, enter your Disqus name in the appropriate field and click ‘Connect Disqus’.

What about improving your blog's SEO as well? Just change the alias and add the page description. 😎

If you are not sure whether you want to publish this particular article, you can save it to Drafts - click the Arrow to see all the available options.

If you need to publish the article on a certain day, push ‘Schedule’ , set the required date and time or change the Publication Date by simply choosing the desired date on the Calendar.

Done? Hit 'Preview' to see how you post will look like to your site visitors.

Use the drop down icons to see the published, saved or deleted articles respectively.


You can filter the articles according to the publication date or categories. Besides, the search option is available - type the article title and you’ll easily find it. 🔍


If you want to change the arrangement of your articles, opt for Order by Ordering and drag and drop the articles around. 

Hover over your article and you'll see the available options: edit, view or delete. To select any of these options, hit the appropriate icon.

To view the article, click the ‘View’ icon and you’ll see how your article looks or add a new one with a single '+' click.


Categories

The created article will be automatically saved to Uncategorized category but you can always change the category simply by adding a new one.

Want to choose the category of the article? Click the arrow and push ‘Add New Category’. Managing your articles will become easier if they are grouped.

To do so, type the name of the new category and push the ‘Create’ button in the new window. Don't forget to create the alias for the discussions, and type the sub domain in the appropriate field.


RSS Feed

You can add Article Feeds from different public news feeds `like Euronews, CNN, The Guardian, etc. in the next section by simply creating a new field and entering your Feed URL. You'll find the RSS feeds on the news websites accordingly. Make sure to hit Save once you're done!

Now let’s implement Articles from RSS feed to your website.

  • Hit the Fetch button to download the data.
  • Head back to articles → Draft section and select the one you want to publish.
  • Hit the Publish button to convey your article to Published Section.



Multilingual blog

If you want to run a multilingual blog and have already added another language to your site, you'll notice a Language Switcher in the upper left corner. Make use of it to alternate between the languages and translate the content on your blog.

To add a new Article to a certain page, just pick the Article Element from the Elements section on the Left Panel and drop it to the desired area. 👇



Related Articles 

Featured articles highlight blog posts you want to bring to your visitor's attention. In other words, you display them on the page that your site visitors are currently on. You can do it like this 👇

  • Enable the Featured button on Editor for each Article respectively. 
  • Set Tags for your Related Articles.
  • Move to a Single Article page and add Related Articles element from your left panel to your canvas.
  •  Pick the one that you want and press Publish!

❗ You will need to choose featured articles for each article that you have.

As a result:

  • Your visitors will stay on your page much longer than they usually do.
  • It will motivate your site visitors to browse through your Blog. 
  • It will attract attention to recent news: this works best if you have a lot of repeated readers.
